FAQs

What if I never received a confirmation email?
When you register, and click the ‘Submit Registration’ button at the bottom of the page, the program automatically sends a confirmation email to the email address you listed.  If you don’t receive the email with the link that completes the registration process, either you input the wrong email address or your service provider (like AOL, Yahoo!, Earthlink, etc.) is blocking emails from roushfenway@motorsportspromos.com.

You can re-register using a different email address, or you can check your spam, bulk mail and junk mail folders.  You can even contact your service provider and instruct them to allow emails from roushfenway@motorsportspromos.com.  But you can't finish the registration process and start playing the game until you click on the link sent by email from roushfenway@motorsportspromos.com.

What if I want another email confirmation sent?
After you are sure you have taken the necessary steps to receive our email, simply re-register with the same information and another confirmation email will be sent to the provided email address.

What if I have Earthlink or a service that wants a live human being to fill out a form, click a link, or take some other action so I can receive the email?
The registration process is completely automated.  If you have Earthlink or some other provider that requires roushfenway@motorsportspromos.com to be added to an address book or approved sender list, you’ll have to do that yourself.

If I re-register with a different email address, can I use the same team name and password that I submitted the first time?
Nothing is saved in our database until you click on the confirmation link that is sent when you click the ‘Submit Registration’ button.

What if I type in my login ID and password from last year, but the page refreshes and it says “The information you provided is not valid?”
Login IDs and passwords from previous seasons are not valid.  All players must re-register with a valid email addy that will accept a confirmation email from roushfenway@motosportspromos.com.  And make sure you have java running and cookies enabled.

Why is it that I get no replies when I try to contact the game administrators?
Because your email provider won’t let our replies through.  We receive your emails, and we reply as quickly as possible, but your email provider won’t accept our responses, or dumps them into a spam or bulk mail folder.

How many teams can I register for in the Roush Fenway Racing You Pick 'Em Challenge?
One.  The rules allow for one person to compete in one AND ONLY ONE driver division.  Players who have multiple teams using different email addresses may be subject to removal from the game.

Why doesn't the program remember my login information when I check the box?

Login info is saved on each player's computer.  If you check the box to have your computer remember your login ID and password, you have to make sure you computer is set to accept cookies.

When is the deadline to submit finish positions?

The deadlines are all at 9:00 AM MST (Arizona) on the day of the race. When a race is on Friday night, the deadline is 9:00 AM MST on Friday. When a race is on Saturday, the deadline for submitting finishing positions for the Roush Fenway Racing entries is Saturday at 9:00 AM MST (Arizona).  It's up to each player to know the day and date for each race.

What if I forgot to put my finish positions picks in before the deadline?
You will score zero points for those races.

What if there are driver changes?
You are predicting the finish positions for each Roush Fenway Racing entry, not the driver. If the No. 6 truck qualifies with Colin Braun but a different driver gets behind the wheel for the race, you still receive points for the finish position you predicted for the truck, not the driver.  If weather problems prevent Carl Edwards from making it to a Nationwide race, but a substitute driver is found and races, you will still receive points according to where you predicted the No. 60 car would finish.

What if I swear I put them in but they somehow disappeared or were changed by Toyota drivers?
Once you select the finish positions and hit the update button, your picks go into a database and they can't disappear.

What if a race is postponed?
If a race is postponed, your total scores for that race weekend or round will not be calculated until the race is finally run.

Can I change my finish predictions for a race that’s postponed?
No.  If a race is postponed, your finish predictions are final and cannot be changed.

What if a race is cancelled?
If a race is cancelled, and never completed, then each player’s finish predictions for that race receive zero points, and the round will be considered complete.

How do I change my email address?
Look for the Edit Profile button after you login with the email address and password you registered with, and then you can update your email addy, password or both.

Can I change my team name or driver division after the season starts?
No. Once you register as a particular team in one of the nine different driver divisions, your team will carry that name and compete in that driver division for the entire season.

How do I find out if I won a prize?
Each week, the results and to-date standings of the Roush Fenway Racing You Pick ‘Em Challenge are posted online, and winners will be notified by email.

How do I get my prize?
Roush Fenway Racing will mail the appropriate prize to each eligible winner, and any prize returned as undeliverable may result in disqualification and the selection of an alternate winner.

Why are some team names green and others blue in the reports?
Green indicates those teams who have qualified for the 'Chase Challenge' or championship game that takes place during the last 10 race weekends.  You qualify for the chase by scoring among the Top 10 in your division, on any weekend, or by being ranked among the Top 10, in your division, after the first 30 weekends of racing are over.  If you’ve never scored in the Top 10 in your division, and aren’t ranked in the Top 10 for points when the Chase begins, your team name will remain blue in all reports.
